Groundworker • Charlton County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundworker in Charlton County, Georgia. You will be based with a civil contractor. Day to day you will stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns. You should have: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
