Safety inspector • Owsley County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety inspector in Owsley County, Kentucky. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills The role involves: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Rotating shifts. We offer $22 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
