Machine operator (earthworks) — Columbia County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Columbia County, Wisconsin. The job is at a road and highway construction project. The role involves: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter What we are looking for: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
