Tailor machinist — Clinch County

Join our team: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Clinch County, Georgia. Day to day you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
