Precision welder • Pawnee County, Nebraska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Pawnee County, Nebraska. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Your main tasks: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
