Vacancy available: furnace operator (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Chattahoochee County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection We offer $190 per day plus benefits.
