Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Mason County, Michigan. Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Performance bonus on top of base pay.
