We are recruiting: we are hiring a prep cook in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. On a typical shift you will monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
