Furnace operator — Mokwa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furnace operator in Mokwa, Niger State. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Your main tasks: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Meals and transport allowance provided.
