Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Kirfi, Bauchi State. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Day to day you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers.
