Mobile crane operator — Hemphill County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Hemphill County, Texas. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. On the job you will handle: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits.
