Now hiring: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in Shelby County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy roofing firm. You should have: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate Day to day you will strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; insulate and ventilate the roof void; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
