Vertical milling machine operator • Marinette County, Wisconsin

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Marinette County, Wisconsin. Day-to-day duties: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
