Immediate opening: structural MIG welder (England)

Now hiring: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Suffolk, England. On a typical shift you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £2,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
