Concrete finisher — Lamar County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Lamar County, Alabama. On a typical shift you will erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
