Tailor machinist — Meagher County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Meagher County, Montana. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. On a typical shift you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
