Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Itu, Akwa Ibom State. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; guide loads through tight openings into their final position.
