Stitching operator • Aransas County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Aransas County, Texas. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Day to day you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
