CNC programmer-operator — Clare County

Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Clare County, Michigan. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. You will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges 1+ years on the tools preferred.
