Presser wanted in Bronx County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a presser in Bronx County, New York. Your main tasks: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Six days a week, one day off.
