Power float operator — Santa Barbara County

Join our team: we are hiring a power float operator in Santa Barbara County, California. Day-to-day duties: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
