Power float operator — Hanson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Hanson County, South Dakota. You will erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Six days a week, one day off.
