Rebar worker — Pike County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar worker in Pike County, Indiana. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Your main tasks: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine 4+ years on the tools preferred.
