Gtaw welder — Keith County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Keith County, Nebraska. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. The role involves control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
