Lifting rigger — Walsh County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Walsh County, North Dakota. On a typical shift you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
