Immediate opening: blocklayer (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Fayette County, Georgia. You will work on a commercial construction site. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day to day you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $150 per day, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
