Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Johnson County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
