Construction helper — Arlington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a construction helper in Arlington County, Virginia. You will be based on a commercial building project. The role involves: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer Requirements: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Part-time with flexible hours.
