Rebar worker — Mitchell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar worker in Mitchell County, Iowa. You will work at a precast concrete yard. The role involves fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
