Urgent requirement: gas installation technician (Abia State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Umuahia North, Abia State. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. On the job you will handle: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
