Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Day to day you will keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter.
