Immediate opening: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Appanoose County, Iowa. The job is on a busy construction site. You should have: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures The role involves break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
