Semi-automatic welder — Orange County

Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Orange County, Virginia. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
