Immediate opening: elevator repair technician (Missouri)

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Lincoln County, Missouri. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Day-to-day duties: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
