Bricklayer — Ondo East

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Ondo East, Ondo State. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. Day-to-day duties: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Rotating shifts.
