Restoration bricklayer — Medina County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Medina County, Ohio. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Day-to-day duties: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Six days a week, one day off.
