Foundry labourer — Lancaster County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Lancaster County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. The role involves cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 1+ years on the tools preferred.
