Die-casting operator wanted in Emmet County

Now hiring: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Emmet County, Iowa. You will be based on the moulding line. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On the job you will handle: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
