Visual inspection operator — Grundy County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Grundy County, Illinois. You should have: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges Day-to-day duties: • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $160 per day plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
