Shakeout operator — Bichi

Join our team: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Bichi, Kano State. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. On a typical shift you will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
