Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Wakulla County, Florida. You will work on a commercial construction site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Day to day you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge.
