Lorry driver — Nottoway County

Join our team: we are hiring a lorry driver in Nottoway County, Virginia. Day to day you will carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery. What we are looking for: • Valid digital tachograph card • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence 4+ years on the tools preferred.
