Immediate opening: foundry labourer (Ebonyi State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Ikwo, Ebonyi State. The role involves apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
