Brickwork mason — Union County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Union County, New Jersey. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
