Join our team: we are hiring a site carpenter in Schoolcraft County, Michigan. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. What we are looking for: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings On the job you will handle: • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
