On a typical shift you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
