Machine assembly operator — Eilean Siar

Join our team: we are hiring a machine assembly operator in Eilean Siar, Scotland. The job is at a consumer goods manufacturing unit. You should have: • Minimum 10th pass or ITI is an advantage • Basic understanding of quality checks and 5S • Able to stand for the full shift and do repetitive hand work Your main tasks: • Pack finished units with foam inserts and seal the cartons • Report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away • Wear an ESD wrist strap when handling circuit boards • Solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier • Keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station • Snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses 5+ years on the tools preferred. £14 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
