Overlocker operator wanted in Stone County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Stone County, Mississippi. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance You will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
