Road roller operator — Hanover County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a road roller operator in Hanover County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently The role involves: • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,500 per project plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
