Tower crane operator • Southend-on-Sea, England

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Southend-on-Sea, England. Day to day you will keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
